How do you Make Money as a Team Beachbody Coach?

Like all other multi-level marketing schemes, to make money from Team Beachbody you will have to do so on a commission basis by selling its products or through referrals.

The commission rate is 25% of each product sale. This percentage does not increase or decrease over time. Some people don’t actually promote any product; they just register to be a coach for the 25% discount on each product for their own use.

Not surprising, the way to really make money via Team Beachbody is through referrals. You will be required to bring on other coaches.  You are required to sell at least $55 worth of any of the company’s products in the past 35 days to retain eligibility for bonuses. Otherwise, you only earn your commission, no bonuses.

Is Team Beachbody a pyramid scheme?

I’ll say outrightly that Team Beachbody is not a pyramid scheme because Pyramid Schemes work by recruiting people that pay to be part of your matrix. Then the money collected from your downline is used to pay the people above you who recruited you.

Pyramid schemes do not sell any real product. Whereas Team Beachbody does have real products that people purchase and do enjoy like the Shakeology. The only similarity between Multi-level marketing and pyramid schemes is the more people under you, the more money you can make.

Making money with Team Beachbody won’t really be easy for everyone. Some can end up making good money while many will end up without making a dime and may even lose some money in the process. To be able to make money through Team Beachbody, you will have to be an extrovert, know how to gain and maintain followers on social media, and have the desire to lead people.

If you want to use the product and are passionate about staying fit and helping others to stay fit then you might want to consider Team Beachbody as a means of earning money.

The good and the bad of Team Beachbody

THE GOOD

  1. Set your own hours

Team Beachbody gives you an opportunity to earn money from commissions and referrals. If you are very good at sales, you’d probably earn enough to keep a boss at bay. It sure is a nice way to earn income at your own convenience.

  1. Doing what you love

Team Beachbody provides those who are passionate about fitness and weight loss to do what they love at their own convenience while making money from it.

  1. Better health and wellness

Team Beachbody programs are designed to help you keep fit. Whether as a coach in the program or a user, you can easily become fit and healthy by making use of the exercise programs and meal replacement.

  1. Sense of satisfaction

Most coaches in Team Beachbody have reported that ever since they joined the program helping others to keep fit having been satisfying to them. They feel that they now have a purpose and are driven to achieve their goals in helping people keep fit.

THE BAD

  1. Fees and lots of it

To join the program, you’ll have to pay an initial fee of $39.95 and afterward you pay a monthly fee of $15.95 for your account to remain active.

  1. To succeed you must be very social

You must be social and very active on social media. Most Team Beachbody coaches post before and after pictures on social media to show the results of using the product.

  1. Products are very expensive

Most of the products on Team Beachbody are very expensive. Shakeology which is a meal replacement shake is better than most available in the market but it costs $4 per serving. Shakeology like all other meal replacement shakes does not curb hunger. People using it might actually even eat more due to hunger and cravings.

My final opinion of Team Beachbody

In conclusion, while Team Beachbody is not a scam, it might be difficult to make money from it except if you are very passionate about fitness and helping others to stay fit and are at the same time very good at marketing products to people.

If you are into fitness but not a fan of MLM, an alternative option is affiliate marketing. You already know the fitness industry products/services, so why not make money by referring people online to those offers?

The way affiliate marketing works is by doing online marketing and when someone clicks the link offer and buys, you earn.
